- Description
- In accordance with the Revised Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has conducted Streamlined Competitions for the Division of Information Analysis and Technical Assistance-Financial, System and Budget Group and Training Staff-Survey and Certification Group. These studies were announced on 23 April 2004. CMS has completed both studies effective 18 June 2004. The results of both studies confirm that it is more cost effective to retain the studied commercial activities in-house. These services are currently provided by twenty-seven (27) Federal Government employees. These streamlined competitive sourcing studies were conducted at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, 7500 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21244-1850
