PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: 100% Set-aside for Small Business contractors. Project Title: Structural Fire Response Suppression Analysis for the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho. Request for Proposal # N9560049011. The Contracting Officer for this solicitation is Joyce E. Bolin, 208-843- 2261 ext. 115 or joyce_bolin@nps.gov. All proposed offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov. A Dun & Bradstreet Number is required to complete the CCR form. You may get a Dun & Bradstreet number from www.dandb.com. It can take up to 30 days to get a number so please do so as soon as possible. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price service contract to furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all requirements for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes: The design, testing and implementation of a standardized structural fire response analysis. The project is to analyze the need and capabilities of the NPS operated and staffed fire engine companies. This analysis is to provide Park Managers a report outlining the steps necessary to implement a sound, long-term and fiscally viable program for protecting visitors, employees and resources. Four parks are to be evaluated during the initial phase of the project to field test and validate the analysis. They are 1) Mesa Verde National Park, CO, 2) Dinosaur National Monument, CO, 3) Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA, 4) Mojave National Preserve, CA. A total of 31 National Parks and Sites may be evaluated under this contract. Options will be in place for various numbers of parks and the contract shall be awarded for the base bid (4 Parks) and some options, depending on the cost. The remaining options may be awarded as funds become available. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 922160. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 Million. Contract duration is estimated at 365 days from the date of award. All responsible, responsive, small business contractors may submit a bid, which, if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. The NPS encourages Minority and Women-Owned small businesses to respond to this solicitation. Offers shall be mailed to the Contracting Officer at Nez Perce National Historical Park, 39063 U.S. Highway 95, Spalding, Idaho 83540.
