- The National Park Service, Pacific West Region-Honolulu office is soliciting proposals from qualified firms having the capability to perform the work described below: Title of Project: Assessment of the ecological status and function of mangroves in American Memorial Park, Saipan. Description: The objective of this project is to obtain data on the extent, composition and health of coastal mangroves within and adjacent to American Memorial Park, on the Island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Type of Procurement: A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. Selection/Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria: 1. Price; 2) Technical Quality consisting of the following: a) Demonstrated working knowledge of Pacific mangrove plant and animal taxonomy and ecology; b) Demonstrated past performance working on contracts/grants of similar nature to this project.
