Description

The VA Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana 70112, has the need for a Contractor to provide a Health Physicists for on-site Radiation Safety Services for the VA Medical Center and its assoicated outpatient clinics. The representative will be responsible for the complete oversight and functional management of the Radiation Safety Program. The representative will generally provide 20 hour per week on-site services on an ongoing basis for the duration of the contract, with option for the Medical Center as needed to reduce the level of services on a pro-rata basis. The contract is for a base year with one option year. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. NAICS Code is 54130 with a small business size standard of $10.00 million dollars in gross annual sales. Solicitation packages will be available on or about July 8, 2004. Only hard copies of the solicitation will be available by written request. Bid opening will be held on August 5, 2004 at 2:00 pm - location 1601 Perdido Street, Building #2, 4th floor, room 405.
