- Rental Equipment (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number F6CERF41360300. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532412 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) This combined synopsis and solicitation is for a 60 day rental of the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: RANCO LW21-42-3 Bottom dump trailer w/spring suspension. 42 ft. long, 21 cu yd. capacity, tri axle w/dual wheels, HD hopper, gate controls w/cab controls, pinsetting equalizers. Brand name or equal. CLIN 0002: 3500 gallon water truck with front and rear spray bars. Tandem axle truck, 350 HP engine, Top or Hydrant load body. Brand name or equal. CLIN 0003: Dyanpac CA362 D vibratory soil compactor, front 84 inch smooth drum, rear drive tires, 119 HP engine, 31,900 lbs. operating weight. Brand name or equal. (vi) Delivery requested no later than 12 July 2004. FOB destination, 819 Red Horse Squadron, Bldg.1450, Malmstrom AFB, MT. 59402. (vii) Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors and ability to meet specifications. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
