- This synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Please note that the Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. The Air Force is researching the feasibility of acquiring services from a contractor to provide Aerial Delivery Flight Services (ADFS) in support of Air Mobility Command (AMC) Air Crew training requirements for the following AMC locations: Charleston AFB, SC, Dyess AFB, TX, McChord AFB, WA and Pope AFB, NC. The following are basic performance requirements: 1)Rig and Prepare Aerial Delivery Loads; 2) Inspect, Clean, Store, Repair, and Pack Cargo/Extraction Parachutes; 3) Drop Zone (DZ) Recovery; 4) Participation in Airdrop Malfunction Investigation; 5) Onload/Offload Aircraft.: Should a future requirement evolve from this requirements planning, it is anticipated that the period of performance will be a basic year plus four one-year option periods. For purposes of this synopsis the small business size standard is $6M and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 488119. Request interested contractors submit a capability package to include the following information: 1) Name and address of company, Business Size (Large, Small, etc), Company Point of Contact, Telephone number, Fax Number and E-mail address?s and identify if disadvantaged, HUBZone, women owned,or 8(a),etc. 2) Contract references relating to Aerial Delivery Flight Services functions to include: Contract Number; agency supported, whether or not contractor was a prime or a subcontractor, period of performance, original contract value, final or current contract value, technical monitor and phone/fax number, POC with current phone/fax number, and a brief description of the effort; 3) Information demonstrating the company?s ability to perform the potential requirement(s) as described above. Please limit the capability package to 20 pages. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete and submitted by 26 July 2004, 12:00 p.m CDT via e-mail to Tammie.Shelton@scott.af.mil with a copy furnished to Susan.Madison@scott.af.mil.
