- Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Forest Management, Northwest Regional Office combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Commercial Supplies ??? For 23 Handheld PC???s (HPC). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation RMP00040013 is a request for quotes. The closing date for receiving quotes is 06/30/04 end of business day. This request for quote is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. FAR 52.212.02 award will be made to the lowest responsive quote. This RFQ(request for quote) is for brand name or equal in accordance with (FAR 11.104). Substitute brands may be provided if they perform the same function. Product equal to Brand Name must be accompanied with verifiable references. The minimum specification on field PC???s also known as a handheld or data recorder (HPC's) are to include: StrongARM or x scale processor. Screen dimension of at least 320 wide by 240 high. Windows CE version 3.0 or greater. 64 MB of RAM. 128 MB of none volatile data storage space or greater. Serial printing ports. USB for data transfer. User accessible PCMCIA slot. Include field replaceable battery. Full set of numeric and alpha numeric keys. F1 thru f12 Function keys. Hot key to enable and disable touch screen. HPC shall be water proof. HPC shall be able to operate in temperatures ranging from -20 degrees 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Delivery Date 08/13/04, deliver 23 HPC???s to: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Forestry Management, 911 NE 11th Ave, Portland, OR 97232. The following Far clauses are applicable and this synopsis/solicitation incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC #2001-22(b)). Far 52.102 incorporating provisions and clauses by reference apply to this contract. FAR clauses can be referenced through the government web site, www.arnet.gov. FAR 52.212.01, FAR 52.212.02, FAR 52.212.03, FAR 52.212.04, FAR 52.214.31 applies to this contract. FAR 52.212.05 applies to this contract with the following clauses marked, FAR 52. FAR 222.19, FAR 52.222.21, FAR 52.222.26, FAR 52.225.1, FAR 52.225.13, FAR 52.232.33, FAR 52.232.36, FAR 52.225.1, FAR 52.225.13, FAR 52.232.33, FAR 52.232.36. Vendors who do not accept Government Master Card must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website in order to receive contracts and purchase orders from the Department of Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs FAR 52.212-01(k).
