- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1.1.1 The contractor shall provide in accordance with AR700-84, Chapter 5-5, AR670-1. To sew unto Battle Dress and Class A Green Service Uniforms. ( a ) Organizational/Unit Insignia will be sewn center on the left sleeve ???? inch below the top of the shoulder seam on the coast of the Army green uniform for all personnel including the field jacket; ( b ) Name tape will be sewn immediately above and parallel to the top edge of the right pocket, will be either 4 ???? inches or extending to the edge of the pocket, including the field jacket; ( c ) Insignia, distinguished, U.S Army will be sewn center immediately above parallel to the top edge of the right pocket, will be either 4 ???? inches or extending to the edge of the pockets, including the field jacket; ( d ) Service stripes will be sewn centered on the outside bottom half of the sleeve on the Army green uniform coat for male enlisted personnel and the army green coat for female enlisted personnel; ( e ) Rank, nosubdue cloth insignia of grade will be sewn on each sleeve of the army green uniform to include the dress green. The insignia will be worn centered between the shoulder seam and the elbow on all uniforms; ( f ) Physical Fitness Badge will be sewn on the upper left front side of the PFU, IPFU T-shirt, and PFU sweatshirt. On the IPFU running Jacket, the insignia is shown center ???? above the word Army??????; ( g ) The full color U.S flag cloth replica is sewn ???? inch below the right shoulder seam of the army green uniform for all personnel including the field jacket. It is placed 1/8 inch below the right shoulder sleeve insignia. 1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS: Sewing Skills and familiarity with military uniforms 1.1.3 HOURS OF OPERATION: The contractor will provide their hours of operations to the medical center brigade. 1.1.4 MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS: Enlisted service members will indicate the type of service required by checking the appropriate check box on the contractor's service form. 1.1.5 METHOD OF PAYMENT: Invoices shall be submitted monthly. A report will be generated and payment executed accordingly. 1.1.6 TURN AROUND TIME: Seven days from the day that Contractor receives the items
