Description
Project will provide for replacement of the existing stream crossing at mile post 1.19 on Forest Road 38N04. The replacement will consist of a bottomless box culvert with headwalls. The project is located about5 miles east of Cecilville, CA in the Taylor Creek drainage. The work will consist of complete creek channel diversion, and removal of corrugated structural plate pipe, temporart traffic bypass, installation of bottomless box culvert. The project will require excavating of fills and hauling and placement fill material. The project will also require haul and placement of Crushed Rock. This project is being funded by the Jobs-in-the-Woods program and, thus, competition is legislatively restricted to certain counties in Washington, Oregon and northern California. Contract will only be awarded to a firm that is located in one of the following eligible counties: Washington: Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Kittitas, Yakima, Klickitat, Skamania, Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Pacific, Lewis, Pierce, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Jefferson, Clallam, Kitsap, Island, San Juan, King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom; Oregon: Wasco, Jefferson, Deschutes, Lake, Klamath, Jackson, Josephine, Curry, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Linn, Benton, Lincoln, Washington, Columbia and Clatsop; California: Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, Lake, Trinity, Humboldt, Del Norte and Mendocino. In addition, the successful contractor will be required to submit the following data upon completion of work and prior to contract closeout: (a) Number of workers employed on the contract including managers, supervisors and support; (b) Number of days these workers worked on the contract (total based on an 8-hour workday); (c) Total amount of wages and benefits paid to these workers; (d) Number of workers, if any, considered being displaced timber workers. Estimated start date September 1, 2004. Recommended contract time 60 calendar days. Price range $100,000 to $250,000.
