Description

The purpose of this modification is to change the Competitive Sourcing Official from Tom Kaplan to Patrick Pizzella. The announcement should read as follows: The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA), Office of Financial and Administrative Management is conducting a standard competition, in accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) for accounting services. The competition will include services that are currently performed at the DOL/ETA national office in Washington D.C. Services being competed include general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, account payable, accounting for grants, capitalized asset accounting, cash management and ancillary services Currently the incumbent service provider is 23 full-time equivalent positions. DOL/ETA anticipates awarding a service provider agreement (contract, fee for service or letter of obligation) with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. A fixed-price contract type is anticipated. The DOL/ETA Competitive Sourcing Official is Patrick Pizzella; the Contracting Officer is Keith A. Bond; the Agency Tender Official is Erica Cantor. The projected end date of the competition is April 1, 2005. A pre-solicitation notice will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about November 15, 2004. Interested parties should monitor FedBizOpps for more information about this A-76 standard competition.
