Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, 10480 22nd Street Elmendorf AFB, AK 99506, intends to award a sole source contract to International Automated Systems, Inc. 1801 Old Highway 8, Suite 121 New Brighton MN 55112-2307. Items to be fabricated, purchases and installed are 400 pivot carrier extensions with safety clamps for F-15 Aircraft External Fuel Storage Tank Systems currently positioned at Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, AK. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 13 July 2004. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this synopsis is 7 Jul 2004 at 8:00 AM Alaska Standard Time.
