Description

The Norfolk District is offering for sale approximately 72,286 MBF (Scribner) of hardwood sawtimber on approximately 90 acres at U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York. The total number of items for this sale is one (1). The timber to be sold may be inspected by prospective purchasers through July 26, 2004. Arrangements for inspections should be made by contacting Mr. Joe Deschenes, telephone (845) 938-2314. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., July 29, 2004, by the Acquisition, Mana gement, and Disposal Section, Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, and then and there publicly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Mr. D eschenes at USMA, West Point or from the Acquisition, Management, and Disposal Section, address shown above. Terms and conditions of sale, procedure for submitting bids, and a description of the timber are contained in the bid forms. Item One (1) of this sale will be sold by LUMP SUM.
