Description

The Philadelphia District intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Structural Testing Corporation, P.O. Box 9817 Newark, DE for follow-up Structural Testing Services on the Chesapeake City Bridge. The contractor shall conduct a test to measu re strains in at least four selected floor beams. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for such d ocuments will not be considered. However, all information received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All work shall be completed within fifty days (50) days af ter award. The NAICS Code is 541330 with a size standard of $4 million. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
