Description

The Bureau of Land Management intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with National Seed Pellet, 35 McDougal Industrial Complex, Lovelock, NV, 89419-0876 to acquire 540 pounds of pelletized seed in a set mix ratio as follows: (Sant Bluestem 3.5 lbs/acre, Little Bluestem 3.5lbs./acre, Sideoats 1.0lbs./acre, Sand Dropseed 1.0lbs/acre) and 144 pounds of pelletized seed in a ratio as follows: (Blue Grama 2.0 lbs/acre, Sideoats 2.0lbs/acre, Sand Dropseed 1.0lbs/acre, Globemallow .5 lbs/acre, Fourwing Saltbush 3.5 lbs/acre). The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The reason justifying this sole source procurement is: Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above are encouraged to give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished, in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. All responses received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
