Description
In accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the U.S. EPA ORD/NHSRC requires a commercially available "off-the-shelf" Portable Gas Chromatograph System that meets the following minimum specifications: System shall be Portable, Lightweight, Rugged and weigh less than 50 lbs; System shall have Direct Air Injection; System shall measure Benzene, Toulene, and Xylenes (BTX) with a Sensitivity up to 500 ppt and a Variable Volume Repeatability of less than 2%; System shall have a time response rate for BTX of less than fifteen (15) minutes, however less than three (3) minutes is preferred; System shall operate in ambient temperatures of less than 0 up to 40C; System shall operate by battery or external power source; System shall be capable of on-board gas carrier; System shall include all necessary components for BTX measurements including columns and associated parts; Contractor shall include all necessary software to run the system; Contractor shall provide training for up to five (5) people for a minimum of one (1) day at the U.S. EPA facility located at Research Triangle Park, NC. This procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334513 with a size standard of 500 employees. Award will be made using "best value" evaluation criteria. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency. Any firm believing itself capable of providing the required portable gas chromatograph must request a copy of the RFQ in writing within fifteen (15) days of electronic posting of this notice.
