Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) anticipates the need for future Art Conservation Services for Works of Art in the Fine Arts Collection located in federally owned and leased buildings in all geographic regions of the GSA. Services to include performance of, but not limited to, the following: survey, assess, recommend treatment, transport, perform conservation treatment, perform emergency stabilization/repair, and develop or implement generic cyclic maintenance plans for works of art in the Fine Arts Collection of the GSA. Services will be coordinated through the Office of the Chief Architect located in the Central Office of the GSA in Washington, DC. The Works of Art include Architectural Arts/Textiles, Paintings, and Sculptures in all materials. The government intends to issue three (3) single award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a base year period and four (4) option year periods. The maximum contract limitation is $500,000 for the base year, with four (4) subsequent renewable option years for an aggregate contract total of $2,500,000. Services will be procured, as necessary, by the issuance of delivery orders. All potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) prior to award (www.ccr.gov). Contractor must be a Professional Associate or Fellow of the American Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC). These contracts are set-aside exclusively for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 711510 (small business size standard is $6.0 million). The Request for Proposals will be issued on or about July 16,2004 and proposals will be due 30 days after issuance. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. E-mail inquiries only.
