Description

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, (AHRQ), through the Division of Acquisition Management (DAM), Program Support Center(PSC), plans to award a 6 month sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures, to Partnership for Prevention, 1015 18th Street, NW, Suite 200 Washington, DC 20036. The anticipated date July 15, 2004. The purpose of this request is to assist in the planning, convening and summarizing of two meetings focusing on disseminating the US Preventive Services Task Force recommendations. The Contractor Shall be responsible for but not limited to the following: Organize and conduct two meetings of organizational stakeholders (health plans, HMOs, large employers, public policy stakeholders) to assist AHRQ with disseminating the USPSTF recommendations to target audiences. Prepare and submit to AHRQ, a summary of each meeting?s proceedings outlining recommendations to AHRQ. 1st meeting ? Deliver 5 copies to the Government Estimated Due Date - November 29, 2004 Project Officer: summary of the meeting?s proceedings, agenda and participant list. 2nd meeting - Deliver 5 copies to the Government Estimated Due Date - December 31, 2004 Project Officer: summary of the meeting?s proceedings, agenda and participant list. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
