Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13. The a ssociated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332311 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. USPFO-NY has a requirement for 24 Conex Sealand containers.All interested offerors shall provide a q uote for the following line items: Line Item 0001: Quantity 24 each Conex containers. The containers shall meet the following required specifications: (1) Shall be ISO weather-tight sealand containers, constructed with steel. (2)containers shall have a loc kable double entry door; (3) Containers shall be sound and weather- tight (4) Container size shall be 8.0 feet wide x 8.6 feet high x 20.0 feet long. Line Item 0002: Shipping; Containers in Line Item 0001 shall be delivered to NYS Armory, 1700 Parkway East , Utica, New York 13501. Containers shall be delivered by 31 July 2004.***Delivery shall be FOB Destination. ***The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipment in good order and condition to th e point of delivery specified in the purchase order, be responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the purchase order; and pay all charg es to the specified point of delivery. ***Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best value to the Government with price being the only factor considered. The Government will evaluate information based on the following evaluation criteri a: Price.
