Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about July 19, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000.The NAICS code is 561499. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitations and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. The work of this contract consists of, but not limited to the surveying, processing, organizing, rehousing, describing and cataloging into the Automated National Catalog System Plus (ANCS+) 2.75 linear feet (approximately 4,500 items) of military drawings generated by the U.S. Army, Navy and Coast Guard from the Gateway National Recreation Area collection. The National Park Service will identify in writing the 2.75 linear feet of collection materials that will be cataloged under this project. The work will be divided into three phases: Phase I - Surveying, Phase II - Processing, Rehousing and Draft Finding Aid, Phase III - Project Completion Report. The majority of the work will be performed after January 1, 2005. The location of the work to be performed is at the Government Facility at Boston National Historical Park, Charlestown Navy Yard, Boston, Massachusetts.
