Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking information from firms that are capable of providing Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) support for H-3 variant aircraft for U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The scope of the potential requirement consists of: (1) performing On and Off-Site Depot Level Maintenance, repair, and modification for various customers; (2) Repairing or Overhauling selected H-3 components; (3) designing and manufacturing H-3 Modification kits; and (4) Manufacturing Make at Depot (MD) source coded parts. The U.S. Government will not provide any Government Furnished Support Equipment (GFE) to support the above efforts. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify whether qualified vendors exist that have the assets, skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge to support the possibility of a full and open competition to satisfy the general requirements identified above. This Sources Sought Is Not A Request For Proposal. The information contained herein is subject to change and is provided for informational purposes only, the final requirement, if any, would be defined under a formal Request for Proposal. Information Requested: Any response to this sources sought shall be limited to no more than ten (10) pages. If the material provided contains proprietary information, please mark and identify disposition instructions (submitted data will not be returned). If providing the information electronically, please ensure that the information is compatible and accessible using Microsoft Office 2000 software. The response should include, but not be limited to, the following: a) A company history description to include; Small Business Administration (SBA) business size classification, NAICS code, major products, primary customer base, and point of contacts and their telephone numbers, that are able to discuss the material submitted; b) A description of the company?s past experience and ability to perform the general requirements identified above, including access to the requisite support and test equipment; and, c) Any other technical information the company deems necessary to aid the government in making an informed assessment. Written responses, either via email or fax, must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. 23 July 2004, to Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, 47123 Buse Road, Bldg 2272, Suite 256, Attn: Fritz Musser, AIR-2.4.3.2.6, Patuxent River, MD 20670. Information to Industry: Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above.
