Description

The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia, South Carolina 29209,VISN 7, has a sole source requirement to be issued to Philips Medical Systems of NA, 22100 Bothell Everett Hwy, Bothell, Wa 98021, to provide full maintenance to include all labor, supplies, tools, materials, transportation, parts and equipment to perform two (2) PMI?s and all intervening service for the Philips Thoravision II, 80KW/W/DI Chest System, EE#1002992, S/N 980548 for the base year October 2004, through September 2005 and four option years. FAR 6.302 authorizes sole source procedure. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 with a size standard of $6.0 million. The procurement will be conducted utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13 in conjunction with commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12. The solicitation will be available on or about July 08, 2004. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax to 478-274-5583. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requests for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and faxed to the Contracting Officer. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL addresses. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
