Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) intends to award a sole source contract (other than full and open competition) to McKesson Health Solutions for 12-months (Bridge Contract), with a six (6) month base period and two (2) three months options under FAR 6.302-1. McKesson is currently providing selected licensed criteria, which allows the Department of Veterans Affairs? Medical Centers in 21 VISNs (Veterans Integrated Service Network) to use the InterQual? UR criteria. McKesson, who develops and published InterQual? criteria, maintains proprietary rights. The 12-month bridge contract with McKesson will allow for the solicitation phase to a new, competitively awarded procurement. Interested parties with the capability to provide the required services should submit a capability statement writing to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) calendar days after initial publication of this notice. If no responses are received to the effect that this service is available from an alternate source, a contract will be awarded to McKesson Health Solutions.
