Description

NOTE 22 applies. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD), intends to enter into a contract with Pine Instrument Company, manufacturer of the Superpave Gyratory Compactor. This Gyratory Compactor was designed and produced to meet FHWA specifications for the superpave equipment. The replacement must also be compatible with the existing Pine Instrument Superpave Gyratory Compactor in order that the calibration and supporting equipment are interchangeable to produce test results that are consistent and repeatable. The estimated value of this acquisition is $36,000. Exception to Note 22: The Government will consider proposals received within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
