- This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by 460th Contracting Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado to determine the size, and type of businesses able to provide Civil Engineering, Information Management, and Transportation Services (CEITS) for Buckley Air Force Base (BAFB) that includes the expansion of BAFB Infrastructure and Facilities Sustainability Model Plan (5 Year plan). The Civil Engineering portion of the effort will consist of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the 2 Space Warning Squadron (2 SWS) real property, housing referral, power conditioning and continuation interfacing equipment (RPIE), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). The Transportation portion of the effort will include operation and maintenance of the Base vehicle management and dispatch, cargo movement, operation of the base shuttle, and passenger travel services. The Information Management portion of the effort will include Base Information Transfer Center (BITC) services (Base postal services), publications and forms accounts, and records management. At a minimum, the support shall include all personnel, equipment, tools materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform the above listed requirements for one, two, or all of the effort areas. If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by 19 July 2004; 4:00 P.M. (MDT). Responses should include: (1) Business Name and Address (2) Point of Contact Name and Phone Number (3) DUNS and NAICS code(s) (4) Business Size SMALL or LARGE (5) Type of Business 8A, HUBZone, WOMEN-OWNED, SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED etc, and (6) contract magnitude of similar work. All businesses are encouraged to limit their responses to no more than 20 pages in length. Currently we are utilizing this market research to develop such information as contract type, socio-economic set-aside information, and possible NAICS codes; therfore, this information is not currently available. Sources Sought is issued for market research purposes in accordance with FAR part 10. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
