- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management is solicting for offers for the Alpine Hand Thinning Project in Rio Grande County, CO. The project will thin the pinon pine and juniper using chain saws. The size of the project is 40 acres and the estimated cost is under $25000.00. Interested parties can access the solicitation on or about July 17, 2004 via the internet. Offers will be accepted via US Mail at BLM, EFO, 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506 or by fax at (970)244-3130 or electronically. A prebid site tour is offered on July 21, 2004 at the Hungry Logger Restaurant located at 0011 Vista St, South Fork, CO at 9:00 am. Local contact is Glenda Torres at (719)852-6203. The solicitation closes on August 4, 2004 and offers must be received by 11:59 pm no later than August 4, 2004 to be considered. This is a total small business set-aside (numbered note one).
