- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the continuation of software licensing, maintenance, and other services in support of the IRS Business Performance Management System (BPMS) with GEAC Enterprise Solutions, Inc.,(formerly Comshare) 66 Perimeter Center E, Atlanta, GA 30346. The proprietary software includes Production Reporting, Application Server, Decision View Manager, and Decision user access to Decision Web. The contractor shall provide product service updates for every software module and maintenance passes/patches as they occur. The contractor shall advise/notify the IRS when an update/maintenance pass/patch is available and shall allow the IRS to either download it, or the IRS may request the disk version. The contractor shall provide a daily help desk facility during normal working hours for the IRS programmers and other support staff. The The resultant shall be provided either over the telephone, via email, or via the Internet. The period of performance is from April 2, 2004 through September 30, 2004. No solicitation document exists; therefore, requests for such document will be considered non-responsive. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties, other than GEAC, must clearly state all of their capabilities and experience in support of the scope described above, especially how they would support GEAC (formerly Comshare) proprietary software.
