Description The following additional information is provided: Additional information: The printers will be Networked. Currently we are using printers for Text purposes only. The printer we are currently using is the HP 5Si Directions for obtaining and submitting test samples: (1) Send a request indicating your interest in testing and/or responding to this notice. Please include the address to which you want the testing samples sent. (2) The Forensic Document Lab (FDL) will send out 3 copies of the sample stock to the address provided. (3) For testing purposes, select any color digital photo and print it on the samples provided. The size of the digital photo that will ultimately be printed is 2x2 inches. (4) Return the samples to the Forensic Document Lab (FDL) by July 23, 2004. Please use overnight delivery. NOTE: Each and every sample of stock that you receive must be returned to the Forensic Document Lab (FDL) without exception. Each sample must be accounted for and may not be destroyed or transferred to any other person &/or Organization. Each Organization/Person will be responsible for the security and safety all samples. (5) The address is: DHS Forensic Document Lab Attn.: Wayne Laptosh 8000 Westpark Drive Suite 235 McLean, VA 22102 (6) Be sure to include your Company Name and Printer Model Number along with relevant technical specifications of the media used in the printing. Also, please include the point-of-contact at your organization. After the FDL has concluded its tests on the printed document for security and integrity, those organizations with printers that meet our needs will be asked to come to an Office in the Washington DC area for a live demonstrate of the printer.
