- NOTE: POC FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS DONNA ONEAL, EMAIL - doneal@d11.uscg.mil. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to solicit, and award a sole source procurement to Verizon Hawaii Incorporated, Honolulu, HI. This procurement will provide leased telephone service on a month-to-month basis comprised of point-to-point microwave access to the Public Switched and Federal Telephone Systems Networks from the local telephone company?s Central Office facility at Kapolei, Hawaii to the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point at 1 Coral Sea Road Kapolei, Hawaii. The Coast Guard has determined therefore that competition is not available. If no responses are received within fifteen (15) days with sufficient information to determine that another responsible source is available, negotiations will be conducted with Verizon Hawaii Inc. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in applicable purchase order clauses contained in the award. This solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 517110. The size standard is 1500 employees. The contract type will be firm fixed price. Negotiations with Verizon Hawaii Inc will begin on or about 22 July 2004.
