Description

Potential sources sought. The Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to consider in an award of a Purchase Order for Parts manufactured by Paxman. Delivery will be F.O.B Destination, Commanding Officer, USCG Engineering Logistic Center, and Baltimore, MD. Purchase Order for Rotor, Driven, with Bushing, used on Paxman Engine, qty. 14 each. Rotor assembly, driving, for oil pump used on overhaul of paxman engines, 16 each. It is the Government?s belief that the items required could only be obtained from authorized distributors such as: Viking Inc. and Man B & W Diesel. If you there are other authorized distributors, you are required to provide authorized distributorship from Paxman, to the U.S. Coast Guard within 3 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within the (3) days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), or 2) data that offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer.
