Description
The U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Training and Administrative Procurement Branch, intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis with Harris Corporation, Wireless Products Group, PO Box 37, Melbourne, FL, 800-358-5297, for Harris? Stingray/Amberjack training, Gossameer training, and DF Accessory Kit. The services/supplies are proprietary and specifications, plans and drawings are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as Harris Corporation is the only known source to provide the required supplies/services. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Companies who can provide the above listed proprietary services/supplies must indicate their interest on or before 13 July 2004, and must provide a capability statement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
