Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention (DUIP) participates in a partnership with the United States Fire Administration (USFA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and other federal organizations known as the Federal Fire Partnership. This partnership is at a critical time, as the partnership must begin to move to action to reach the goal of eliminating deaths in the United States from residential fires by the year 2020. Under previous contracts a strategic plan was developed. However, it has been determined that due the enormous problem of residential fires and the complexity in eliminating all deaths by 2020 that continued work will need to be done over the next year and a modified plan needs to be produced and delivered. The solicitation document (RFQ 2004-Q-01480) shall be uploaded within 24 hours on the Federal Business Opportunities web-site.
