- Description
- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, ALOSH, Morgantown, WV has a need for its Health Effects Laboratory Division for a TSI Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (.01 um to 1 um), Model Number 3936L25. This proposed action announces the Governments intent to issue a purchase order, on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302.1, to TSI, St. Paul, MN. The hardware specificed must be supplied by the proposed vendor for reasons of compatibility with existing equipment. The lab currently owns a TSI Condensation Particle Counter (CPC). This purchase is for a TSI Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer that attaches to the CPC and works in conjunction with it. Both systems must be from TSI so that the system electronics will be able to communicate and so that the control software is able to control both pieces of equipment. This is not a request for competitive quotes, and no solicitation is available. Any source who believes they can provide the required product is entitled to identify themselves to the contracting officer no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this announcement.
