Description
AMENDMENT #0001 DATED 7/8/04 A. EXTENDS BIDS DUE DATE TO 7/15/04 @ 3:00PM PDT. B. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED FOR CLARIFICATION. C. CAD DRAWINGS PROVIDED FOR OFFEROR'S USE AND INFORMATION. _________________________________________ The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region intends to negotiate a lease-to-own contract for approximately 55 freestanding modular systems workstations and 9 private offices with an integrated panel system and other related items, including installation for the FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) New Office Building at 3180 NW 229th Ave, Building 7, Hillsboro, Oregon. Multiple awards can/may result from this solicitation for the various project elements. Offerors should be aware that the FAA is exempt from soliciting from GSA mandatory Federal Supply Schedule contracts, but it is still eligible for GSA FSS pricing. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis without business size or minority status classification a consideration for award. It is the desire of the FAA to solicit directly from furniture dealers located in or servicing the Hillsboro, OR region in order to have a local contract for on-site furniture issues that may arise during delivery/installation. FAA also requires contractor to provide storage, delivery and off-loading of furniture to site. Work is scheduled to be started on or about September 10, 2004 and must be completed within 10 working days. Security background information is required for all personnel working at the site. Issuance of the Request for Offers (DTFANM-04-R-00030) to selected qualified offerors is scheduled for on or about June 29, 2004.
