Description
Change Presolicitation Notice to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation; end item is for a written report; purchase order will be issued with a firm-fixed price as lump sum. The following Statement of Work is corrected for format purposes only: The purpose of this statement of work is to evaluate the use of a geothermal heat pump system for survey for HQ AETC. The geothermal system would implement a vertical closed loop heat exchanger. A preliminary geological lithology log model will be simulated using available data from the state and other geological organizations to create a model. The model will show the following: (1) the types of materials expected to be encountered (2) an estimated average thermal conductivity for a 350? vertical well based on those materials (3)an average estimated static earth temperature across the well depth (4)thermal diffusivity for that same vertical well METHODOLOGY: The software used for simulating geological conditions is:Rock Works; Micro-Soft, Excel A professional Geologist has also been used to evaluate the lithology of the formation on site and evaluate the estimated thermal performance of the soils at different strata and the composite performance for the vertical closed loop. He will also determine the estimated Static Water level and trends in its stability or effects on the thermal conductivity results.
