Description

The US Army RDEC Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement to purchase the following Electrical Equipment on a Brand Name or Equal basis: 18 each, Thomas and Betts Compression Tool with Dies; 36 each, Reliable Equipment Pent a Head Socket Wrenches; 144 each, 3M Termination Kits; 108 each, Orange Traffic Cones; 18 spools at 5000 feet of Okoguard-Okosieal Direct Burial Cable, and 36 spools at 4000 feet of Okoguard-Okosieal Direct Burial Cable; 1350 each, Ilsco 2/0 Lugs; 1800 eac h, Metallics Washer, Flat, 3/8 inch, plated; 1800 each, Metallics Washer, Lock, Split, 3/8 inch; 1800 each, Metallics Nut, Hex, plated 3/8 x 16; 1350 each, Metallics Tap Bolts, Hex, plated, 3/8 x 16; 594 rolls, 3M Tape, Electrical, Splicing; 108 each, Allstate Sign, Stand, Floor, Plastic, 12 x 20 in, HighVoltage/Restricted Area; 288 each, 3M Splice Kits; 360 each; Greaves Bond Studs; 108 rolls, All state Caution Tape; 594 rolls, 3M Black Tape, Electrical; 108 rolls, 3M Red Tape, Electrical; 108 rolls, 3M White Tape, Electrical; 900 each, 3M Connector Barrels 2/0; and 180 each GE Transformers. Salient Characteristics to each of the Brand Name items l isted herein, will be furnished within the Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a commercial item, and will result in a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS Classification is 335999 the size st andard for which is 1,000 employees. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) will be posted on the Natick Acquisition Web Site: https://www3.natick.army.mil on or about 26 July 2004.
