Description
The Department of the Interior intends to award a sole source contract to Enviremedial Services Inc of Oceanside, CA for the following services, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. Required services are as follows: Background: Naval Base Venture County needs full service cleaning, recycling and sediment collection for OWS. A Transportable Treatment Unit (TTU) is needed to separate any hydrocarbons from the effluent located in the OWS, return the hydrocarbons to NBVC for proper disposal. The effluent is then processed through the TTU and cleaned to a standard of less than 15mg/1 of oil/grease, and less than 30 mg/1 of total suspended solids (TSS). The effluent processed through the TTU is then put back into the OWS thus reducing (approx. 75%) of the hazardous waste that would have been disposed of through Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO). Scope: Naval Base Venture County needs services for the cleaning and recycling of water from oil/water separators. The services include the removal of sediment from the separators and containerize it in drums supplied by Naval Base Ventura County. The separators will be pressured washed and the clean recycled water returned to each oil/water separator. Oil retrieved will be containerized and returned to Naval Base Ventura County for recycling or disposal through the base-recycling program. Place of Performance: Point Mugu and Port Heueneme. Estimated Period of Performance - Base year and four one year options. Offerors who believe they can provide the above services are requested to send technical capability statements to the Department of the Interior, National Business Center, SW Branch, P.O. Box 12924, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85670-2924, FEDEX ONLY: Augur & Adair Streets (Bldg 22208, 2nd Floor), Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. Fax: (520) 533-1600 or 538-0415. Inquiries may be directed to Deborah Branham at (520) 533-1452. See Note 22.
