- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Orlando, TSD has been tasked to acquire a visual display system that will be an integral part of the Multipurpose Supporting Arms Trainer (MSAT) located at EWTGLANT, Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek. The MSAT display system shall be a full color, real image wide-angle display. Supporting documentation for this solicitation has been posted to the NAVAIR Orlando TSD Business Opportunities Website (http://www.nawctsd.navy.mil/). The posting references solicitation number N61339-04-T-0058 and is titled Visual Display for MSAT Little Creek. The delivery date for this procurement shall be no later than 2 December 2004. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334119, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. In an effort to determine the set-aside criteria for this solicitation, it is requested that all small businesses interested in competing for this procurement provide a capabilities package to NAVAIR Orlando TSD no later than 1:00 PM local time, 15 July 2004. It is requested that the packages be sent electronically to Gregory.Dougherty@Navy.Mil or fax to the attention of Gregory Dougherty at 407-380-4164. Responses should include a narrative identifying the scope of past and present (within the last 3 years) relevant experience, a description of capabilities to perform the subject effort, any comments on the draft Statement of Objectives and Performance Specification, and any alternative approaches to filling the subject requirement. Potential sources must identify their business type (i.e., large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc). The responses will serve as a basis for the Government?s decision to establish this requirement as an 8(a), Small Business Set-Aside, or Unrestricted requirement. Any resultant solicitation (including amendments, special notices, etc) will be posted exclusively at this web site.
