- Description
- The United States Coast Guard has a requirement for NSN: 4030-01-225-2773, Shackle, PN: 76TE-1701-85 Detail 7-A/4, qty 6 each. Description: Long Reach, Round Pin Shackle Assembly, high alloy forged steel, shackle body and pin to be 2 ?? diameter, overall length to be approximately 25 ??. Assembly to be furnished with a 300 series stainless steel split type cotter pin. Pin and shackle assembly to be certified for 45 Ton safe working load and proof load test at 2.2 time (99.000#) the safe working load. Manufactured to Drawing: 76TE-1701-85 Revision D, item 21 and detail 7-A/4, Drawing available from Coast Guard by request. Standard commercial tolerances are acceptable. Shackle and pin are to be hot dipped galvanized all over. Material and physical certifications are required. End use: for use with triple vang block 76TE-1701-89. FOB Destination, delivery to USCG ELC, Warehouse Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packed, marked and bar coded, the company Tax Identification Number and Duns Number. Offeror must also fill out and return FAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JUNE 2003). Quotations shall be received no later than July 16, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR 2004. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 332510 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
