Description
PR YPT04157000004, NSN: 8455-00-255-3103, Insignia, Embroidered, Material A, Shoulder Sleeve, Full Color Overedge Stitching Required, 1st Infantry Division, Stitch Count 4200 EA. Quantity 292,896 each; Destinations: Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA. Twelve (12) deliveries beginning 90 days after date of award. In accordance with MIL-DTL-14652B dtd 18 Dec 2001. In accordance with drawing A-1-76 Dtd 24 Aug 1988 and Cartoon A-1-76 Dtd 18 Apr 1975. Five (5) each First Article Test Samples are required 45 days after date of award. One (1) 100% Option quantity required. Solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside. BERRY AMENDMENT APPLIES. Solicitation will include end item specification. Solicitation will be available on the Procurement gateway on or around July 27, 2004. Contractor supplies all materials. Contractor must be CCR Registered and have a government cage code. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoDs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home/ on or around July 27, 2004). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs.
