- Description
- 28--Defense Supply Center Richmond is issuing a solicitation for 10 commercial kits within the F110 engine family. Prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposals (RFP) number SPO480-04-R-4386 is used for this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This is a sole source (Note 22), unrestricted solicitation for NAICS Code 336412, employees? size 1000. FOB origin to establish a firm fixed price contract for 3-base years and includes 2-one year option periods as described at Clause 52.217-9G07 ALT 1 (I90A). Any supplies to be furnished under this resulting contract shall be ordered by issuance of delivery order by the activities designated in Clause 52.211-9G50 (F16). A reduction in the production lead-time for each item is requested. IAW Clause 252.225-7007 (I142). Fast Pay is not applicable and any reference to it herein should be disregarded. Clause 52.216-19 (I67), paragraphs (b), (c), and (d) are deleted as estimated annual demand is shown for admin purposes only. IAW FAR Clause 52.212-4, all changes to this contract will be bilateral including deletion of items. Additional information, instructions, and requirements as listed in FAR 12.603 can be obtained by clicking on the solicitation number below. The solicitation is being provided in both PDF and Microsoft Word format. The offeror shall provide a response no later than 2:00 p.m. local time, 17 Sep 2004. If OEM-owned tooling/forging/castings are required in order to supply an item listed in this solicitation, offeror must provide, as part of their offer, written proof that they have the right to use OEM-owned tooling/forging/castings in the manufacture of these items. Anyone wishing to submit technical data package must provide a complete package by 2:00 p.m. local time, 17 Sep 2004 for evaluation as an alternate offer in accordance with the products offered clause 52.217-9002 (L54), but keep in mind that these kits are newly designed, and sole source to General Electric; therefore, technical data must be obtained from the OEM, General Electric.
