Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Oil Pad Road Rehabilitation at Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge in South Florida. Work includes but is not limited to: regrading and improvement of single lane access road, grading for six (6) car parking spaces, clearing, grubbing, aggregate base, asphaltic concrete overlay paving, open graded pipe and associated site work as detailed on the drawings and specified in the specifications. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237310. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 07/30/04. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401814B011. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award.
