Description
The Navy Experiental Diving Unit, Panama City Fl. Intends to procure via Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Sole Source to Air Power Services, of Pensacola FL.: Complete installation of a Mako, model 5436-75E3-BA, Four (4) stage, water-cooled compressor package. This package shall include: 84.0 scfm, 1443 RPM at 5000 psig driven by a 75 hp 460v, 60hz, 3 phase ODP motor. The system shall be base plate; skid mounted and be ready for immediate installation. The flow rate as listed is based on fill charge rates. The system shall be provided with the following specifications: Inlet filter, Inter coolers and after cooler, Interstage and final condensate separators, Interstage and final relief valves. V-belt drive with guard, Discharge check valve, Interstage & final air pressure gauges, Oil pressure gauge, Hourmeter, Emergency stop button, Power on switch with indicator light, Auto start, stop air pressure switch with indicator light. Stop at 4500 psig. Low oil pressure shutdown switch with warning light, High temperature shutdown switch with warning light, Low water flow shutdown switch with warning light, Automatic condensate drain system, Auto drain muffler, reservoir with hose, loose accessory, Magnetic starter and control transformer, Water control shutoff valve, Thermostatic control valve, Two dial thermometers, Water pressure gauge. INSTALLATION: Remove existing MAKO compressor package. The new compressor package shall be mounted and secured to existing concrete foundation per manufacturer?s specifications. Fabricate and provide piping, fittings and materials required to tie-in the compressor package to the existing pipe assemblies. Fabricate and provide electrical wire, conduit and materials as required to tie-in the compressor package to the existing electrical system. STARTUP, WARRANTY and VALIDATION: Provide compressor with startup and validate MAKO package warranty. Run compressor package for a period of no less than two, 2, hours at full load and pressure capacity. Warranty validation and startup to be provided by an authorized MAKO service technician. Provide technical review of compressor package for NEDU personnel. This project shall consists of removal and replacement of the one of two existing MAKO Model 5436 high pressure air compressor packages at the Navy Experimental Diving Unit.
