Description

SORCE/ORGIN - 935 - The Senior Regional Capacity Development Advisor (SRCDA) is assigned to the USAID West Africa Regional Program (WARP) and reports to the Regional Director and the SO5 Team Leader. The SRCDA position was established to strengthen the institutional and human resource development capacities of the new program in an effort to strengthen its sustainability prospects. The incumbent will develop a cross cutting human resource development and institutional strengthening strategy for HIV/AIDS/STI, reproductive health, and child survival partner institutions. This effort will be focused on developing the marketing and programming skills of individuals to increase their absorptive capacity as the region is challenged to responsibly program large inflows of health funds from the World Bank, the Global Fund and other donors in support of HIV/AIDS, TB, and other health programs. S/He will specifically develop a strategy in support of the USAID regional program partners in collaboration with other donor efforts in the same area.
