Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. Business size standard 500 is employees. SIC Code for this solicitation is 2514. NAIC Code for this solicitation is 337124. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. It is the intent of the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center to award this requirement as a base with 2 options not to exceed date of September 30, 2005. The base lot containing the following items: Contract line item number (CLIN) 1. Crews bottom berth, left hand, with locker under, aluminum, berth construction shall be IAW NAVSEA DWG. 804-1409485. A berth shall only include 1 storage pan, 1 mattress support pan, 1 storage drawer and all hardware associated with a bottom berth (no stanchions, privacy screens, ladders and lights). Hinges shall be provided loose to allow for the matching of existing stanchion spacing. Overall berth dimensions are, 78.5? long, 28? wide, 8.125? high. Lee rail shall be provided IAW CG DWG. FL-3306-31. Paint shall be color coated chlorinated alkyd enamel fed color strip #23617. Required quantity for this item is 11. (CLIN) 1A. Locker, clothing, left hand door, paint shall be color coated chlorinated alkyd enamel fed color strip #23617, units shall be constructed IAW C. G. DWG. FL-3306-29, 16? wide, type A. Required quantity for this item is 66. Option CLIN 2 thru 2D, Option CLIN 2 thru 2D if exercised will be exercised by September 30, 2005. Option CLIN 2 thru 2D is the same as CLIN 1 thru CLIN 1D. Option CLIN 3 thru 3D is the same as CLIN 1 thru CLIN 1D. All responsible offers shall submit firm pricing information for the base and 2 options of all or none. This information must be received within ten (10) working days from the date of this publication. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this particular acquisition. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000, Delivery date for the first lot shall be no later than 30 August, 2004. The contractor will have 90 days to deliver option CLIN 2 thru 2D, and CLIN 3 thru 3D if exercised. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation.
