- The Program Support Center has a requirement for the Office on Womens Health to select contractors to develop, coordinate and implement a Model Mentorship Program (MMP) for delivery of HIV/AIDS prevention services to minority women in both urban and rural environments. The contractor, to be known as the Mentor, shall provide customized technical assistance in administration and program development to 2 protege organizations assigned them by the Office on Womens Health. The primary intent of this requirement is to strengthen the prot?g?s? capacity to deliver primary and secondary HIV/AIDS prevention services to minority women living with HIV/AIDS and at risk women. This requirement is being solicited and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THIS IS NOT A GRANT. The award will be a contract, i.e. purchase order. The period of performance shall be for a 12 month period from the date of award. The Government anticipates making multiple awards from this solicitation, not to exceed 4 awards. This is a small business set aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624190 and size standard is $6 million. In accordance FAR 5.102(a)(1) the solicitation will be made available electronically on or about 15 days from the date of this publication. Questions must be received by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, July 22, 2004. Prospective Offerors must submit their questions in Microsoft Word Format to Sabrina F. Brown via e-mail: sfbrown@psc.gov. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps web-page. The internet address for downloading the solicitation is http://fedbizopps.gov. Any notification of changes to the solicitation (amendments) will be posted on the internet.
