Description

The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote (RFQ) from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment services in Montgomery County, Maryland located on the bus line for the Montgomery County Work Release Center, 11651 Nebel Street, Rockville, Maryland 20852; for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year period to begin on October 1, 2004 and ending September 30, 2005. The services required for this contract respectively are: Estimated Number of Inmates is 30; 30 Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 12 Individual Units x 30 inmates = 360 Total Units; and Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 48 Group Units x 30 inmates = 1,440 Total Units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated January 2004. The solicitation will be available on or after July 19, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Estimated closing date is on or about August 19, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
