- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price type order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0003, with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) to provide the necessary personnel, facilities and equipment to perform the nonrecurring work effort required to design, integrate, and test the AN/AYH-3(V) Integrated Mechanical Diagnostic System (IMDS) changes to production MH-60S aircraft, including applicable trainer modifications and documentation updates. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As SAC is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the MH-60S aircraft, SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data necessary to perform this effort. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22.
