- Description
- The U.S. Treasury Department provides technical assistance and policy advice to senior government and central bank officials and market participants in nearly 50 countries. We are recruiting candidates to be Treasury Advisors in Iraq. Positions are available immediately. The advisors should be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and must be willing to relocate to Baghdad, Iraq. We are seeking individuals with professional experience and qualifications in the following areas: Sovereign debt resolution Monetary Policy Banking Supervision and Regulation Anti-Money Laundering, Asset Tracing, and Anti-Corruption The Treasury Advisors will be engaged pursuant to a personal services contract administered by the Office of Technical Assistance of the Treasury Department of the United States. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. resident aliens. SALARY AND BENEFITS: Salaries are negotiated in accordance with program regulations, based on demonstrated salary history and the skills required. The salary range is from $85,000 to $145,600. Overseas benefits are provided as allowed by federal regulations. Successful applicants will be subject to a background investigation at the appropriate level.
