- Description
- Utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Subpart 13.5), the General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a purchase order to The Summit Group, Apple Valley, MN for its commercially available Business Value Selling and Business Engagement Strategies and Tactics courses. PBS is seeking professional training for up to 120 (4 course presentations/up to 30 per course) employees (i.e., senior management, customer service advisors) focusing on customer value analysis and market segmentation services from a governments perspective to develop customer-centered relationship management and personal development competencies. The training will assist PBS in creating business value selling, develop business engagement strategies and tactics, create collaborative value with customers and how PBS can engage Executive alignment and support across PBS. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of the test program for commercial items (Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by sending a description and price list of offered commercially available training course/package that meets the described requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all responses received by close of business 4:00 p.m. est. Monday, July 19, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties shall identify the firm?s status (i.e., Hubzone, 8(a), woman-owned, small disadvantaged, small or large business, veteran owned).
