Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as request for proposal No. HC1019-04-R-0006. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. This acquisition is 8(a), Hubzone, SDB setaside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210, $21,000,000.00 Upgrade and provide test for Digital Lightwave equipment. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Upgrade NIC2.5G Chassis for NICPLUS Chassis, require additional boards and licenses as necessary, includes new chassis, system control card, hardware transfer, calibration, and system test, 4 ea. CLIN 0002 Product number F2, 2.5G Protocol Processor (1550nm) with OC-48/48c STM-16/16c testing software installed, 4 ea. CLIN 0003 Product number 0004 10/100/Gigabit Ethernet Protocol Processor (850nm/1310nm) (MultiMode/SingleMode) Two Port (1 850nm 1 1310nm) and two 10/100 test ports (RJ-45) with Ethernet Testing Software Installed, 2 ea. CLIN 0004 Product number M600-K- Quad, OTDR MultiMode/SingleMode (850nm, 13000nm, 1310nm, 1550nm) 1 ea. CLIN 0005 Product number LW ETK4G, 4 pre-calibrated wavelengths kits includes Cletoop Type A, LW VLR, LW OPM-4G, LW DLS, LW OSD, LW SFS, LW PMC2 case, 5 ea. The Government's requirement is to upgrade 7 each Government owned NIC 2.5G test sets, serial numbers: 25G11025287, 25G12025309, 25G11025293, 25G04025143, 25G04025137, 25G09036020, 25G09036021. The vendor shall upgrade 4 units (serial numbers: 25G11025287, 25G090036021, 25G04025143, 25G09036020) of the NIC 2.5Gs, remove and install boards/cards in the NICPLUS chassis: All 4 units shall be upgraded with an OC-48 processor card installed, and a RS-530 processor card installed. In addition, two units will have an 10/100/Gigabit Ethernet Protocol Processor card installed. The remaining 3 units (serial numbers: 25G04025137, 25G12025309, 25G11025293) of the NIC 2.5G units will have RS-530 processor cards installed.
